Amazing food and service! A wonderful breakfast spot. So glad we came to Ronnie's Restaurant because it was delish! They have a good selection of eggs Benedict, pancakes, omelets, and even some lunch options. They even have a picture of water and coffee on the table... Genius .. I think every breakfast place should have the water and coffee on the table loved that ideas! I ordered the breakfast quesadillas..the scrambled eggs inside were fluffy, the avocado was freshly cut, and mixed well with the black beans and roasted red peppers and onions. Would definitely order again!

Walked in and was instantly greeted and seated. The food was delicious and serving size was more than plenty. All of the staff were friendly and the service was fast!
While I was in Lenexa, I decided to search for a good place to have breakfast on Yelp. That's when I found Ronnie's Restaurant. Although I had never heard of it before, the positive reviews piqued my interest. I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did because it didn't disappoint. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and we didn't have to wait long to be seated or for our meal to be served. The only downside was that I realized I forgot to take photos of the amazing food after I had already finished it! One interesting thing I noticed is that they offer flavored creamer.
Reading through my last review in 2019 I was right that I wasn't going to be back soon, given that it's been five years between visits. That being said, a lot has changed in five years, and I now have a four year old in tow, and I have to say that Ronnie's is a great spot for families. I remember back in 2019 we had some rude service, that was long gone this time around. The servers were all very friendly, and on a busy weekend morning I was honestly really impressed we were able to walk in and snag a table, despite it being constantly busy the entire time we were there. I indulged in chicken fried chicken which was great, my husband got a breakfast burrito which I think he thought was average, and my daughter had a cinnamon roll which she loved. I still think in terms of cravable breakfast food there are likely some spots around town that shine a bit better, but Ronnie's does a good job of serving up the classics and I appreciate that a casual, locally owned spot like this exists. I have a feeling now that we have kids this place will become a semi-regular spot in our rotation when we feel like braving it for brunch.
We have been here twice and both times the service has been excellent and the food is amazing. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are affordable. I have tried the same food both times but I would love to come back for lunch one day.
I came here with a friend for the first time. We had a wonderful breakfast and a great experience overall. We both ordered omelets, which were delicious. The special of the day was fish and chips and after seeing those plates delivered, I was wishing I ordered that too! Our waitress was friendly and the service was quick! The restaurant was clean and comfortable. We want to return again to try more items!
